Mission Statement:
The mission of Adolescent Substance Abuse Program is to protect the public by reducing juvenile crime and delinquency in Florida.
Our goals are to develop and broaden the skills of adjudicated youth through therapeutic programming in a secure, structured environment, enabling the youth to meet their comprehensive, individualized performance goals and objectives, to establish and maintain productive interactions and relationships, to prevent recidivism, and to promote youths’ successful transition into the community.
It is the philosophy of Adolescent Substance Abuse Program that this mission can be accomplished by providing programming that increases youths’ competency in academics, employability, reasoning, decision making, impulse control, conflict resolution, leadership, and interpersonal problem-solving.
